"If these cemeteries could talk, oh the stories they could tell."

"If These Cemeteries Could Talk" is a series of tours focusing on African American cemeteries in Bulloch County, Georgia, conducted by the Willow Hill Heritage and Renaissance Center. The tours, which began in 2019, visit the 35 known African-American cemeteries in Bulloch County, Georgia.

For his work on the “If These Cemeteries Could Talk” project, Dr. Alvin Jackson was the recipient of the 2023 Georgia Historical Records Advisory Council Award for Local History Advocacy.
